JESSE A. HOROSHAK
Location: Minneapolis, Minnesota
With significant experience handling a wide variety of personal injury, bankruptcy, and collection cases, JESSE A. HOROSHAK is able to bring relief to people dealing with injuries and challenging financial circumstances. He understands the difficult personal and financial situations that confront individuals and families who are injured in automobile collisions and burdened with debts and overdue payments and bills and enjoys working with them to bring about a positive solution to the complex problems that they are facing.
Prior to entering the legal profession, Mr. Horoshak attended Hamline University, graduating Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and Criminal Justice. He received his Juris Doctor degree from William Mitchell College of Law. As a law student, he worked as a law clerk with the Elk River City Prosecutor’s Office. After graduation, and a brief stint as a contract attorney, he worked as an associate attorney for two bankruptcy firms, Prescott & Pearson, P.A. and Running Law Firm, P.C., before joining Woods & Thompson, P.A. in early 2015.
Mr. Horoshak currently dedicates the majority of his practice to helping individuals injured in automobile collisions recover the benefits to which they are entitled for reimbursement of medical expenses, lost wages, transportation costs, and other costs related to their injuries. His practice is based around the concept of seeking justice for the injured who need someone to fight on their behalf. He understands that, oftentimes, individuals who are injured in automobile collisions are not only dealing with the lingering pain, but also with mounting bills, missed time from work, and changes in their everyday lives and works to take the stress off the clients while he fights for their rights.
In his bankruptcy practice, Mr. Horoshak strives to reduce the emotional distress of parties experiencing financial difficulties. He counsels his clients through the tough financial times created by mounting bills, whether they are from large medical expenses, temporary job lay-offs, or other events. Mr. Horoshak ensures that every client receives the individual care and attention that they deserve and makes every effort to understand their personal goals and objectives as he guides them through their complex financial challenges. He believes in treating his clients with respect and dignity and demonstrates a sincere concern for distressed debtors, volunteering with the Volunteer Lawyers Network as a pro bono attorney assisting individuals and families who cannot afford legal representation.
When not in the office, Jesse is an active sportsperson, enjoying golf, curling, and tennis. He also is a huge Minnesota sports fan and enjoys taking in Twins, Vikings, and Wild games, but especially likes spending time with his wife, Mary, sons, Jacob and Thomas, and two yellow labs, Sadie and Bella.
